By using PhotoMeasureKit.com or any of its tools, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
2. What PhotoMeasureKit provides
PhotoMeasureKit provides free browser-based tools for marking photographs, estimating dimensions from a reference, calculating materials, checking layouts and fit, recording visible services and creating project reports. Features may be corrected, changed or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.
3. Measurement accuracy
Values manually entered by a user are not independently checked. Measurements estimated from photographs may be affected by camera angle, perspective, lens distortion, image cropping, depth differences, reference placement, calibration and input error. A result that looks precise may still be wrong.
Do not rely on a photo estimate as the sole basis for an important purchase, cut, fixing position, access decision or quotation. Read the photo measurement accuracy guide.
4. Hidden services and safety
The Hidden Services Recorder documents what is visible before a surface is covered. It is not a detector and cannot confirm what is behind a finished wall, floor or ceiling. Use appropriate detection equipment and competent professional advice before drilling, cutting or disturbing a surface.
5. Material and fit calculations
Material quantities, clearances and layouts depend on the dimensions, allowances, units and assumptions entered. Real products, rooms and routes may be irregular. Check manufacturer instructions, tolerances, waste allowances, openings, obstacles and access conditions before buying or installing anything.
6. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter, the photographs you select, how you interpret results, and decisions made using a download or report. Use lawful content, respect other people’s privacy and obtain permission before photographing or documenting property that is not yours.
7. Your content
You retain rights in photographs, notes and project information you use with the tools. PhotoMeasureKit does not claim ownership of them. Because project photographs are processed locally, PhotoMeasureKit cannot recover a lost image, report or browser project.
8. Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful personal or business projects. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape the website excessively, misrepresent generated reports as independently verified, or use the tools to infringe another person’s rights.
9. Website content and intellectual property
The PhotoMeasureKit name, branding, website design, explanatory content and tool code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell or republish the website or its tools as a competing service.
10. Advertising and external services
The free website may display clearly labelled third-party advertising or link to external websites. External services have their own terms and privacy practices. An advert does not mean PhotoMeasureKit has tested or endorsed the advertised product.
11. Availability
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. Reasonable care is taken to keep it useful, but uninterrupted access, compatibility with every browser and permanent storage of local projects cannot be guaranteed.
12. Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhotoMeasureKit is provided without warranties that calculations or outputs will be complete, suitable or error-free. PhotoMeasureKit is not responsible for loss caused by relying on an unverified measurement, incorrect user input, device or browser failure, or use contrary to these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights.
13. Changes and applicable law
These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The version in effect when you use the website applies. Any dispute is subject to applicable law and any mandatory rights available in the user’s country.
